I remember enjoying the original when I was like, 3 years old. It’s colorful and horses are awesome, what’s so bad about that? He’s also only speaking about the surface form of the show, and says nothing about the content. It’s pure kneejerk.

He also missed the point of Star Trek, which always portrayed violence as a last resort (which was admittedly often reached).
